Looking to hook up a Gene Simmons Costume? You’re my kind of crowd. When I was 5 years old, I was obsessed with Kiss. Gene Simmons was my all time favorite Kiss character. I found one of those plastic Gene Simmons costumes as a kid and had to have it! Honestly, to this day, it’s still one of the most memorable Halloween costumes I can remember.
Kiss F’N rules! And you rule for wanting to be Gene Simmons for Halloween!
So nowadays, what Kiss costumes would I dress up as for Halloween besides Gene Simmons? Peter Criss was the Cat Man and I would never want to be a pussy cat. Besides, wasn’t he the one that always use to bum out Kiss fans like me with that pansy Beth song? OK, we have a demon, the star child, the space ace, and a cat that slows down the party with a love song. Let’s beat him up! No just kidding. He was a member of Kiss and should be given respect.
What about Space Ace? I love Ace Frehley, but I don’t think I would be a good space ace. You gotta have that New York groove, which is something I don’t have being from Los Angeles and all.
What about a Paul Stanley costume? I don’t have a hairy enough chest. I’ve tried to grow my 7 chest hairs, but my wife plucks them every time they start to get long. Damn her!
I guess I would go as Vinnie Vincent. About 80% of you are probably scratching your heads and wondering, who the hell is Vinnie Vincent. I’m not going to say anything bad about Vinnie because I believe he’s suing Gene Simmons and Google right now as you’re reading this. So no rumors, no gossip, but I do have to say Vinnie Vincent was the best guitarist that Kiss ever had. There I said it! He use to dress up as some guy who had an ankh painted on his face. Some Egyptian God or something. Bam! I’m going as Vinnie Vincent!
