Darth Vader Costume
If you read my rant about how I had a Gene Simmons costume for Halloween when I was a kid, I also had a Darth Vader Costume too. I wore my plastic Darth Vader costume for weeks after Halloween. I remember slipping into that plastic stuff that they use to make costumes out of and putting my plastic Darth Vader mask on with that cheap rubber band that was always stapled to the side of the mask. Those were the days.
Whenever my friends and I would play Star Wars, I was always Darth Vader. Everybody always wanted to be the good guys, so there were no fights over who was going to be Lord Vader. I bet all of these people I use to play with wake up in a cold sweat at night wishing they could have been Darth Vader. Maybe this Halloween they’ll be picking up a life size Darth Vader Costume here.
Consider this. After buying a Darth Vader costume as cool as these, not only will you be the hit of the party, but you’ll be the hit of all the comic book conventions too. Darth Vader costumes are chick magnets! You think I’m kidding? I attend the biggest comic book convention in the world every year, Comicon, and every Darth Vader I see has girls around him.
Seriously, have you ever seen anybody dressed up as the whiney Luke Skywalker and scored chicks on Halloween? No! Why? Because in the first film (Episode IV, AKA that first movie) Luke Skywalker is wearing a bath robe. If Luke grew out his beard and drank Caucasians (I call them White Russians), people would mistake him as “The Dude.” But what do you expect from a guy from Tatooine? It seems like the fashionable dress on his planet is robes. Jawas wear robes, Sand People wore robes, etc…
